Heatsink PC Has 2.4GHz Opteron, 6800GT, No Fans!

Not only is this one impressive feat of PC engineering, but it also looks absolutely awesome. If only I could buy a PC like this, it’d probably turn me away from Macs again… Maybe.
Of course, as anyone who knows anything about system building will tell you, a computer packing a 2.4GHz Opteron and a GeForce 6800GT is going to be a complete fan-fest thanks to the crazy heat involved. To overcome this problem, intrepid case modder Ville “Willek” Kyrö decided to build what is essentially a giant heatsink, and screw all the components to the outside of it.
Alright, so that description doesn’t really do all his hard work justice. This creation is a lot more complicated than that, of course, involving custom heatpipes and a whole lot of copper and aluminium, as well as the blood, sweat, and tears that would be expected for such a project.
I expect someone like Akasa or Zalman to start churning these out for the mass market pretty soon.
