Introducing The Mac Pro… Mini!
Author: Rees | Date: March 14, 2008
Whether you’re a graphic designer, video editor, Mac fanboy or just an outright geek, you should have a lot of love for the Mac Pro. Well, now you can have one on the cheap as, believe it or not, what you see above isn’t actually a Mac Pro at all – it’s a very well done casemod by a Japanese Mac Mini owner.
That’s right, this thing is all Mac Mini inside, and is only slightly bigger than the plucky little Mac itself. It also adds an incredibly useful front power button and USB port, as well as a full-size hard disk drive. The case is made of plastic, not that you’d know that by looking at it, and this is seriously something that I’d buy if someone started making them.
I’ve cracked my Mini open enough times to happily transfer the gubbins into one of these beauties – so bring it on!
