Hackers Break Into PS3′s Home
Author: Rees | Date: April 10, 2008If you’re a PS3 owner and you can’t wait until the eagerly anticipated Home is released, there’s a piece of software for you. A user over at the PS3News forums has found a way of using a proxy running on a PC to connect to the Home servers and download the closed beta.
Apparently, it’s not fully functional yet on the server side, as connections can be hit-and-miss, but some users (as in the rather long-winded video above) have managed to have some success with this method.
For the rest of us, there’s always the eternally bizarre and compelling Second Life.
