Realtime Worlds’ APB Possibly Coming To PS3?
Author: Rees | Date: April 16, 2008
A while back I wrote about All Points Bulletin, otherwise known as APB, a massively multiplayer online third person cops and robbers type affair from the makers of Crackdown.
It’s pretty much a given that the game would be making its way onto the system that made Realtime their millions in the first place, the 360, but what wasn’t so clear was whether PS3 owners would be getting in on the fun. That was complicated even more when a recent article in The Scotsman suggested that that may indeed be the case.
Well, Realtime Worlds studio manager Colin MacDonald has gone and thrown another spanner in the works with this little quote: “The situation is that yes, all the consoles are an option for us, and we’ll be looking at them, but there’s nothing decided, nothing to report at the moment I’m afraid”.
So, er, that’s a definite maybe. What we do know is that the game will be making its way on to the Xbox 360 and PC platforms at some point in the future. So, another piece of excellent non-news for everyone!
