Epic Games: No Demo For Gears of War 2

Well, it looks like gamers won’t be getting their GoW2 on before the official release, as Epic have announced that we won’t be getting a demo. It’s unsurprising considering that the original Gears of War sold so well without a demo (3 million copies in 10 weeks), and it’s supposedly due to the sequel’s short development cycle of 2 years, and Epic wanting to put all their development effort into the game itself.

Hey, if Epic want to concentrate on making the full game as awesome as they can then I’m sure we can make do without a demo. It’s only the sequel to one of the best games ever, so I’m sure it’ll sell well enough without.
