When Lego and Nintendo Characters Combine…

I am quite frankly amazed that people have so much time to spare that they can make their own Lego versions of computer game characters. A chap called Donald (good name, Donald) has devoted his own time and effort to creating Lego Legend of Zelda characters, as evidenced by the image above (apologies for the crappy quality, TeamTeabag superiors!). When you’ve got excellent work such as this gallery on Flickr, showing excellent gaming/Lego craftsmanship, it makes you wonder why he bothered.
To be fair to old Donald, some of his creations are pretty good. The Mask Salesman is pretty good and the Sheik figure looks decent. Not sure about the ‘classic’ Ganon though.
Still, all his Zelda creations pale into insignificance when compared with the awesome amazingness of his Mario and Luigi Lego characters…

Uncanny, isn’t it? But hang on a moment, look a little bit closer and they look like another pair of brothers… to me, to you, to me, to you…
