Firefox 3.0 RC1 Assaults The Internets With Greatness

According to my super special stats, over two thirds of people who visit this site are using the Mozilla Foundation’s excellent open source, cross-platform browser known as Firefox. So you’ll probably be interested to know that the first release candidate of the new version has just popped into the world, kicking and screaming as always, and it’s known as Firefox 3.0 RC1.
It seems like Firefox 3 has been in development for forever and a day, but hey, I guess they shouldn’t rush it and risk spoiling it. I can say from my extensive testing that 3.0 is going to be revolutionary, not least because of some of the instability issues I’ve been having with the Mac and Windows versions of 2.0 just lately.
