Introducing The GTAIV PC
Author: Rees | Date: May 23, 2008
Check out this Mini-ITX PC, crammed into the safe deposit box that comes as part of the limited collector’s edition of GTA4. It’s based around the popular 17cmx17cm small form factor motherboard, this time the EPIA version – with the collector’s edition box measuring 18cm across this was “a match made in heaven”, in the intrepid modder’s own words.
The GTA4 PC runs Slax Linux from a 1GB Compact Flash card, and thanks to this solid state storage solution and the EPIA’s complete lack of fans, this is a small, stylish, and most importantly, silent system.
There are loads more pictures of the build process over on mini-itx.com.

I spotted this PC pop up on the web a few months ago and have just finished building my own. I went town the Atom route, with a 40GB drive. More power and it works perfectly. Cutting and drilling the box to take the motherboard was tough, but after that it was dead easy.
