Latest NES-In-A-Cart Hack Is Cooler, Portable-er
Author: Rees | Date: July 4, 2008
Remember a while back when we featured a very cool NES mod, where someone had managed to squeeze the guts of the classic console into one of its own game cartridges?
Well, someone on the Ben Heckendorn forums (of all places) has gone and topped that – by making a portable, entirely self-contained version with a backlit 2.5″ screen built right in. Unlike the last mod, this one doesn’t accept standard cartridges, instead opting for a 99-in-1 system, but I’m sure we can overlook that as that built-in screen is just so uber-cool.
