What’s going on here then? Bungie.net has gone down, replaced with the above message. Strange how everyone was expecting a big Bungie announcement at Microsoft’s E3 press conference and none was forthcoming, so I’m guessing they’re about to do something big of their own – they are independent now, after all.

The timer on the site is counting down to something just a couple of days away, so we’ll keep ya posted just as soon as something exciting happens. New Halo? Nah. I’m betting it’s something to do with this Superintendent thing.
