Fallout 3 to Include Clothes for your Avatar

It seems that Bethesda Softworks will be the first developer to jump on the ‘avatar customisation’ bandwagon when Fallout 3 is released later this year. According Major Nelson’s latest podcast, Microsoft have been approached by the Fallout 3 development team to see if they can include a hazmat suit for your avatar with the game, and it seems that they were given the big thumbs up.
So I guess this is the replacement to free gamerpics that were included in some games then? I quite like the idea personally, and at least it puts my fears to rest that you would have to dress your Mii avatar in regular clothes. I wonder if we will get a suit of COG armor with GOW2? And how long we will have to wait until we can get some Spartan Armor?
Fallout 3 is due for release this October on PC, 360 & PS3, with exclusive DLC for 360 & PC versions. Avatars will be coming to your Xbox 360 when the ‘fall dashboard update’ is released later this year.
