Want Recon Armour? Go See Bungie at PAX

Author: Vince | Date: July 25, 2008

In their latest news update, Bungie have teased millions of fans with what they will be offering at the Penny Arcade Expo (PAX) that take place 29th-31st of August.  Littered amongst the news is that Bungie’s own Luke & Shishka will be taking on all comers at Halo 3 at the event, with some lucky winners away with their very own set of the legendary ‘Recon Armour’ for the game.  Usually Recon Armour is restricted to Bungie employees, people that have done excellent stuff for the Halo 3 community and competition winners, so if you are one of the lucky people heading off to PAX head over to Bungie’s display at stall #752, as you’d be a fool to pass this chance up.

In the same announcement, Bungie have also announced that they will be showcasing some new Halo 3 Multiplayer DLC at PAX.  This has nothing to do with the legendary delayed E3 announcement though, so probably just some new maps…  Although a few new guns and armour types wouldn’t go a miss, neither would a Brute model for use in multiplayer come to think of it…

I never was a fan of the recon armour to be honest. Of course, I appreciate what it means and how special it is to have earned it, but I much prefer the Hayabusa armour.

Just saying.
