My God… I knew I’d been online for far too long, but when I found out the whole “Ate My Balls” craze was from 1995… Jesus. Hampsterdance, I Kiss You, Peanut Butter Jelly Time, YTMND, All Your Base… The list just oges on and on.

So I salute the maker of this excellent interactive ‘meme’ timeline for recording the lameness that is the internet, and how people have been using it to try to be funny for nearly 15 years. I think it’s about time I hung up the old 14.4K modem and went outside for once.
