Pictures: LEGO Olympics

Here’s a miniature rendition of the Beijing 2008 Olympics, as created by the Hong Kong LEGO Users’ Group. It’s insanely detiled, a fact made all the more impressive when you discover that this whole olympic village was created in under 100 hours.

Does anyone else think of the Katamari games when they see this? I certainly do. Perhaps LEGO Katamari will be the next big LEGO game, after LEGO Star Wars, LEGO Batman, and LEGO Indiana Jones? Maybe even a LEGO Olympics game would be quite cool – certainly better than that rubbish Mario and Sonic one on the DS.
