Gadgets – We Love To Be Confused By Them
Author: Badgerjam | Date: August 9, 2008
Us Brits do like our ultra modern Gadgets and Gizmos, especially us here at Team Teabag, who thrive of often pointless and lets face it crap gizmos. However a survey recently compiled by online consumer review site Reevoo asked 2000 Brits about Gadgets and which ones confuse us the most.
Here is our top ten:
1. Digital camera
2. GPS/SatNav
3. Mobile phone
4. Washing machine
5. Camcorder
6. DVD player
7. Games Console
8. TV remote control
9. MP3 player
10. Microwave
If you read the survey over here you can see we don’t give ourselves much of a chance as 46% of us don’t read the manuals. The second place Satnavs only 6% of Brits actually read the manual, no wonder we keep hearing reports that people keep driving through fields, school playgrounds and the wrong way down one way streets over a cliff to certain doom! Perhaps if we’d read the manual we could of turned it off psychopathic killer mode and put Driving Miss Daisy mode on instead.
If all else fails there is the tried and tested throw the gadget across the room until it breaks and you have to buy a new one, apparently 32% of us suffer from this problem. I think it should be higher really I know I’ve thrown a fair few things in my time.
So if you’ve any entertaining stories about gadgets making your life a living hell or would just like a bit of advice of how to make it behave, don’t call the A-Team call the only Team that counts, make it the Team with the Teabag!
