Pandora Demoed On Video: Runs Linux, Quake 2, And More!
Author: Rees | Date: August 20, 2008
Remember the Pandora, the handheld retro gaming / homebrew handheld system we covered a while back?
Well, a dev board has been demoed on video booting into Linux and running emulators for the SNES and Megadrive, as well as running Quake 2. It’s smooth, fast, and the Pandora doesn’t even seem to break into a sweat. Pretty impressive for something similar in size to a Nintendo DS – perhaps they’ll actually go into production sometime soon?
