OK, so it’s actually called the “Cool Ring-Style Fingertip USB Optical Mouse”, and not fingermouse at all. But what’s in a name eh? Would a pointing device smell as sweet by any other name? Probably.

It’s a somewhat-awesome gadget, and it’s been a week since the last one, so it’ll do.

Anyways, this mouse straps to your finger, and you point the end at your desk. It then (supposedly) works by using the same optical magic found in other mouses* to track your movements and manoeuver a pointer around on the screen. Here are some of its’ awesome features:

• Perfect for using in constrained areas (airplanes, trains and buses)

Some psycho even took a picture of theirs with a huge knife and a Zippo lighter, just in case you were wondering how it would look alongside your collection of hardcore outdoorsy gear. Also, the package itself says “The Lord of the Rings” on it, which has to be a pretty tenuous link at best.
