Best. Quote. Ever!

Musicradar recently caught up with Oasis’s Noel Gallagher to chat about his upcoming album. During the interview the subject of Guitar Hero came up, and Mr. Gallagher gave us possibly the best video game quote ever!:-
Speaking about Guitar Hero he said, “If it puts little plastic guitars into kids’ hands and fires their imaginations, I think that’s a good thing. It’s harmless fun, innit.”
Then he said, “I’d rather that genre of videogames than somebody getting their f***ing head chopped off with a samurai sword while getting f****d by a goblin up the arse with a laser. Do you know what I mean?”
Legendary!

I hate it when that happens.
Pretentious Idiot Musician.
It take dozens (sometimes over a hundred) artists and programmers months or years to create a single game. Lots of hard work dedication and ingenuity are needed for the video game to sell well. (usually)
It could take as little as a few minutes to create a new catchy melody. Musicians then repeat the melody over and over for about 3.5 minutes add some nonsensical lyrics and they’re done. They do this a few more times and they have a whole album that they expect will make them rich and famous. Usually they just end up as broke losers on drugs. (or they give up and get a job)
This is why the music industry is dying. They sell a few minutes of simple entertainment and they expect to be paid tons of money. The games industry works harder and is much more humble than overpaid musicians.
I think his point was that he’d rather kids were playing music games than violent games.
