This Week in Rock Band: The Offspring Are Alright Now Edition
Author: Vince | Date: October 4, 2008
This week sees the release of the long awaited Offspring track pack for Rock Band that was leaked a few weeks back, featuring 3 songs from the Californian punksters earlier albums Smash, Ixnay on the Hombre and Americana. If you include ‘Come Out & Play‘ which is on the RB 2 disc, this still only accounts for 4 of the 6 songs that Offspring announced were coming for RB. So expect another Offspring pack, or at least some more single tracks in the future.
Joining them this week will be 6 single tracks from assorted artists, including the legendary ‘All Right Now’ be Free and the totally underrated ‘Nearly Lost You’ by The Screaming Trees.
The usual pricing applies with the 3 Track Offspring pack costing 440
/$5.49 and all tracks costing 160
/$1.99 separately. The tracks will be released on XBox live marketplace this Tuesday, 7th October, and PSN on Thursday.
