Don’t Drink And Type! Introducing The Beer-Filled Flash Drive
Author: Rees | Date: October 5, 2008
Check out this beer-filled USB Flash Drive! Well, OK, I’m pretty sure it’s not filled with actual beer (it does have a Budweiser logo on the side after all… I kid, I kid!) but the liquid within does do a good job of looking just like the real thing. I bet these would look the part scattered about the MAME bar we featured a few days back, perhaps with some of these thrown in for good measure.
Back to the device itself: It’s one of a line of liquid-filled flash drives from Florida-based CNK promotions, and you can even have your own made up with your logo on the side for $9 a piece (128MB version when ordering 5000). At the more expensive end, it’s a still-quite-reasonable $39.68 per unit for the 8GB version with “foam effect” if you only need 250 of the things.
Included in that price, if you want it, is your very own “floater”, something in the shape of your logo that floats around in the liquid. I can just imagine these things filled with a radioactive-looking foamy green goo, with TEAM TEABAG printed on the side and our very own Bagman floating about inside.
If we get enough interest (and financial backing) we’ll get some made up!
