The Averatec Buddy Netbook is based on the MSI Wind

Check out the Averatec Buddy, released today. Here are the specs:

Intel® Atom™ Mobile Processor (1.6Ghz)

  • 1GB DDR2
  • 160GB HD
  • WLAN 802.11 b/g
  • 10/100 LAN
  • 1.3MP WebCam

If those specs sound familiar, you’ve probably been following the hugely popular (and really very good) MSI Wind, on which this model is based. The Averatec Buddy comes equipped with Windows XP Home Edition and is available now for $449.99.
