Castle Crashers Bugfixes Incoming!
Author: Rees | Date: October 13, 2008
Over on the official Castle Crashers blog, The Behemoth have announced that their patch to fix the game’s many issues has now entered certification:
Over the last five weeks we’ve knocked out the issues with CC and are now verifying the changes to be sure they work as intended. Work is rapidly coming to an end for us and we are prepping the build to be handed off to Microsoft for their test pass and certification. This phase involves total regression testing and can take a few weeks, at which point if any issues are brought up, the process starts anew.
The blog post goes on to say that Microsoft didn’t allow them to release fixes for individual bugs, instead having to roll them all up into one big title update. With certification taking a few weeks at the very least we’ll be lucky to see the new-and-improved Castle Crashers by November, but I guess the wait will be worth it to fix those pesky online issues.
