Prince of Persia – Screenshots

We all like a bit of Prince of Persia in the morning, right? Well, I know I do! I rank such an activity right beside having breakfast and smelling napalm.
I have an admission to make, I am not a huge fan of cell-shaded graphics, in fact, I would go as far as to say that cell-shading at one point came close to ruining the Zelda games for me. Ubisoft are almost veterans in the style compared with some others as they released the heavily cell-shaded XIII back in 2003 which, while I appreciated what was being attempted at the time, didn’t really work for me.
With the above reservations firmly in place, although I always have high hopes when it comes to the gameplay, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect in the graphical sense from the Prince’s next outing.
Well, have a look at the screenshots below, and if these aren’t some of the most stunning graphics you’ve ever seen…paint me blue and yellow and call me Bananaman. (Note – If you’d be kind enough to donate a top-of-the-range PC or a PS3 to me you have my permission to call me anything you like whenever you feel the urge)
With the game looking this beautiful, if it plays as well the previous titles in the series then this has a ‘Game of the Year’ nomination written all over it.
This game is scheduled for release on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC later in the year.
