This Week in Rock Band: No Doubt Edition

Author: Vince | Date: December 9, 2008

Californian pop-ska-punksters No Doubt are the next band to get a full album release for Rock Band, when their ‘The Singles (1993 – 2003)’  album (minus 2 songs) is released this week.  The 2 songs that didn’t make the cut are ‘Trapped in a Box‘ from the bands self-titled debut album and ‘New‘ from the album ‘Return of Saturn’, no reason has been given for their exclusion, but fear not as there are still 13 excellent songs to choose from.

The tracks will be available as a 13 track download for 1600/$19.99 or individually for the usual 160/$1.99 each, with the pack hitting XBLM on Tuesday and PSN on Thursday.

Full tracklisting with video links after the break.

Should be worth a video for some youtube embarrassment then! I think it might be tight underpants and a helium balloon though?

Oh man… We’ve gotta get some helium balloons in for new year… That’d be awesome!

I’d happily put money on this coming out as new year DLC. Die Toten Hosen are already in the game as it is, and there’s a studio version of this!

German punks singing in a Scottish accent? Does it get any better than this?

On the subject of Rock Band and Christmas, here’s my Christmas Rock Band DLC “Christmas List”:

Anything obvious I’ve missed?

I can’t find a youtube video but if you want christmas songs you can’t do any better than the one from the seminal album “Never mind the Bullocks… ‘eres the Wurzels” and the masterpiece of “Come on Santa”

The rest of the album is worth a listen too… its a covers album including Oo-aar just a little bit (Gina-G) and ‘T Weren’t I (Shaggy cover!)

This is possibly the best video I’ve ever seen on the whole of the internets!!!
