Introducing Katamari Creator’s ‘Noby Noby Boy’
Author: Rees | Date: December 18, 2008Check out this upcoming PlayStation Store downloadable game from the creator of the Katamari series of games, Keita Takahashi. Essentially, the player controls the ‘boy’ who goes around eating things and getting longer and longer, while the ‘girl’ watches the ‘boys’ from space and grows accordingly, eating planets as she goes.
A plot that should make perfect sense to Katamari fans, anyway.
Here are the major features of Noby Noby Boy, from what I can gather from the game’s rather insane-o website:
- Online multiplayer, starting on earth and spreading to the galaxy at large.
- Games can be recorded and uploaded to YouTube.
- The game uses dual analog sticks for control.
- Noby Girl grows as players all over the world play, unlocking new stages as she reaches certain milestones.
There’s also this rather interesting information, which I won’t bother typing up here:
Noby Noby Boy is releasing ‘early 2009′ on PSN for €3.99.
