505 games have announced a brand new rhythm-action game coming exclusively to the Nintendo Wii in April 09 entitled We Rock: Drum King, but rather than cluttering up your house with even more plastic instruments Drum King will only require 2 Wiimotes to play.  Set to contain 30 songs, including such rocking classics as Steppenwolf’s ‘Born to be Wild’ and Bloc Party’s ‘Banquet’, the game will allow you to create your very own drummer and set them on the path of becoming a drum legend.

Developed by ARC System Works (those of Guilty Gear fame), We Rock: Drum King take advantage of the Wii motion sensing capabilities to create the ultimate ‘air drumming’ experience by simulating a full kit.  This is achieved by holding different buttons down whilst ’striking’ with the Wiimotes, and with multiple levels of difficulty the game will cater for everybody from the part time drummer with a few pots and pans all the way to budding Keith Moon’s.
