1ª – Halo Wars is from Ensemble. It’s an RTS. Nothing to do with Halo 3.
2º – Bungie is over with Halo.

1st -Halo wars in my opinion a great game, easily comparable to command and conquer-awesome.

2nd-Halo wars was made by ensemble, and by what I’ve read, is going backrupt- or something along the lines of- and that bungie had nothing to do with it besides from the original designs of the characters.

3rd-bungie is not over halo, they are making a new game- more of an expansion of the first halo- and most likely will continue with the development of new maps and updates. Most companies that are “done” with a game will do none of these.

4th- because I can, I might add that I have already purchases halo wars and am paciently waiting for its arrival :D

bungie isnt exactly done with halo they are making another game between halo 2 and 3 called halo3 odst its a story line of a marine and possible when gearbox corperation teams up with bungie they might make a halo 4 which i hope they do

Halo wars came out march 3rd or 4th with only THREE of the halo mythic maps. if you look at you achivements you need to find 6 skulls all from mythic maps and halo wars owners only have 3 maps. i assume there going to have mythic map pack 1 and mythic map pack 2 each containtin 3 maps costing around 800 microsoft points. Now for the recon story if you look at your achivement list youll notice that theres 4 vidmaster challeges, now in order to get recon you must get all theses vidmasters achivments and the three more vidmaster achivments that are comming out with halo 3 ODST which is a expansion to halo 3.

also im unaware of the realease date of halo mythic map pack 1 and map and map pack 2 so dont ask

Oh my poor misguided Paul. Where, of where, to begin? Ok, Halo Wars is an RTS (real-time strategy game (in case you didn’t know that (which seems possible from your obvious stupidity.))) Real time strategy games are games in which you build up resources, raise armies, and throw those armies at each other (I know its a bit more complex than that, but that’ll do for the sake of this argument.) Anyways, it is a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT GENRE from the rest of the Halo saga. OF COURSE IT’S GOING TO BE DIFFERENT. It doesn’t even sound like you’ve given it a fair chance. By the way, it’s a great game, and I feel it helps make the storyline of the Halo saga more full because now I can play through everything I’ve read about in the books. And back then in the story, there weren’t just two heroes, Master Chief and the Arbiter. There were epic battles between entire armies, and and RTS is capable of showing just that. As for Afro Samurai, since you like it so much Paul, why don’t you just go play that and leave the rest of us alone? We’ll be playing the Halo saga thank you very much, including Halo Wars.

Halo wars is fuckin awsome, and although it isn’t doing as well as other halo games there are usually around 8000 people online at a given time, making it a very successful game. that 8000 is just the people on Xbox live too, that doesn’t include the people playing private games, skirmishes, and the campaign (which is also FUCKING AWSOME) so all you Halowars haters don’t recognise one of the best RTS games EvEr
