Zune HD Incoming

Engadget claim to have gotten their hands on some marketing material for Microsoft’s new Zune HD. As at least two of our number here at TTB are Zune fanboys, this is of great interest to us. Stick a big enough hard disk in there, a decent web browser (from the company that brought us IE? Hmm…) and a nice, high quality screen, and I’m sold.

People are speculating that the new device shares a platform with HTC’s Diamond 2 or  Touch Pro, although I don’t really see it… A proper slide-out keyboard would be pretty sweet, though.

That type of collaboration isn’t entirely unheard of, as the original Zune was based on the Toshiba Gigabeat S.
