This Week in Rock Band: Democracy in China Edition
Author: Vince | Date: April 13, 2009
Axl Rose all but confirmed this himself in mid-December, but it has now been made official that the latest Guns N’ Roses album ‘Chinese Democracy’ will be released for Rock Band this week. Considering it is rumoured to be the most expensive album ever made I’m guessing Geffen need to do everything they can to try and break even.
The 13 tracks (as Shackler’s Revenge was included in RB2) will be released on Tuesday via Xbox Live & the in-game store on the Wii and Thursday via PSN. The usual pricing of 160
/$1.99/200 Wii Points applies for the individual songs or 1600
/$19.99 for the full album.
Full tracklisting with video links after the break.

Axl has matured. You will find the music is more complex then what the original band was putting out 15 years ago. Chinese Democracy is like an old Pink Floyd album; the more you listen the better it gets. Axl voice is better, richer, and healthier than it was years ago. The band members that replaced the original band are as good in their own right, and actually bring a more modern sound to Gun N Roses. Chinese Democracy will eventually be deemed a rock and roll masterpiece.
