May The (Police) Force Be With You

It’s not often that we take an excursion into the real world here at TTB, but when we do, it’s almost always worth it. Case in point: thanks to a freedom of information request, we now know that Glasgow police actually have 8 Jedis on the force, with a further two holding those all-important Jedi desk jobs.

With 390,000 English and Welsh Jedis listed in the 2001 census, along with their 14,000 Scottish brethren, it’s surprising to hear that the religion hasn’t yet been officially recognised by authorities. Hopefully this will be the first step towards remedying this great injustice.
