Ratings boards seem to steal all the thunder these days when it come to announcing games and today was the turn of German ratings board USK who have listed a new title from Taito for XBLA, Bubble Bobble NEO.
These rumours have been floating round the internet for a while now, but this is the first official mention of the game which is supposed to be a hi-def update of the arcade original. In addition to the standard story mode there will be a new ‘arrange’ mode in addition to a 4-player multiplayer mode.
Whilst this is still only a rumour, with a new WiiWare version of Bubble Bobble confirmed I think it’s only a matter of time before we get this rumour becomes reality.
UPDATE
In an announcement in Japan, Microsoft have indeed confirmed this amongst a list of 31 games due this year in Japan to try and raise the consoles profile in the land of the rising sun.
