REO Speedwagon and Styx, two 1970′s American rock bands that have refused to go away are out on their ‘Can’t Stop Rockin Tour’ together, and to celebrate there is a 7 track pack of the 2 coming to Rock Band this week.  The pack contains 3 of each groups greatest hits plus a recently recorded collaboration song between the 2 bands to commemorate the tour.  Unfortunately the 3 Styx tracks are all recent re-recordings of the originals, as they never quite capture the magic of the original, or the throw in pointless extra solos just to make it more difficult!

In addition to the 70′s prog rock will be a 3 track pack from modern prog rockers Hautewerk 2006 debut album ‘Stop Start Again’.  I’ll be honest, I know nothing about these guys and they’re not listed in Wikipedia, so if you want to know more check out their official website.

The tracks will all be available individually for the usual 160/$1.99 with the REO Speedwagon/Styx pack costing 880/$10.99 and the 3 track Hautewerk pack available for 440/$5.49.  The tracks will be available on Tuesday via Xbox Live and Thursday on PSN.
