Xbox Live Arcade is getting The Secret of Monkey Island. I’ll just let you take that in for a moment…

One of the best (if not the best) point and click adventure games ever made is going to be gracing our screens once more, thanks to LucasArts’ European distributor Activision Blizzard Deutschland Gmbh.

That’s all we know for now – except that this time around the game’s getting a Special Edition tagline, so perhaps we’ll be getting new-and-improved graphics and controls or something. To sound like the broken record I am, here’s hoping that they don’t go and ruin it.

Expect to hear more at E3, unless of course they decide to spill the beans before then. Will the launch tie in with the release of Monkey Island 5 perchance?
