E3: Japan Getting Black Wii this Year
Author: Vince | Date: June 4, 2009
Way back when, in the days when the Wii was known as the Nintendo Revolution it was not a little white box, but a little black on instead. Well as of August 1st those lucky folk in the land of the rising sun will be able to get their hands on black Wii’s, Wiimotes, nunchuks and classic controllers.
There has been no confirmation as to when or if these will be coming to the rest of the world, but you can bet there will be a massive demand for them.

Is the disc drive the other way up in the black Wii then?
Press photo Photoshop fail!
I doubt it, the picture is a very old one from back when it still was ‘the Revolution’!
Even if its true or not (doubt its true if their promo photo is showing the use of either a cheap copied game or the prat has got the disk upside down!)
Though why wait? You you can already get Black Wii, Wiimote and Wii fit facia replacements. Already got myself a black Wiimote and soon gonna pimp my wii to have a nice matt black look to match the rest of the setup (atm looks like an electronic hate crime in the making with the Wii and the lappy the only white items in the room)
