This Week in Rock Band: Warped Tour, Part 1 Edition
Author: Vince | Date: June 22, 2009
We are treated to the first 5 song track pack showcasing some of the talent on the Warped Tour ‘09 this week for Rock Band. The first pack will see aging punks Bad Religion alongside up and coming ‘post-hardcore’ acts A Day to Remember, Escape the Fate, Chiodos and Underoath from the list of artists that was released last week, with all the bands contributing one song. The Bad Religion track is ’21st Century Digital Boy’ from the bands seminal 1994 album ‘Stranger Than Fiction’, I would have preferred the title track but any Bad Religion is good, right?
In addition to the Warped Tour pack also coming out this week will be a 3 song pack from Maroon 5, which inexplicably doesn’t contain their hit song ‘This Love‘. That’s about all the time I’m willing to donate to Maroon 5 on this site, so lets move on.
The Warped Tour pack will be available for 680
/$8.50 and the Maroon 5 pack will set you back the usual 440
/$5.50, and of course all of the tracks will be available individually for the regular cost of 160
/$2. The songs will be available on Tuesday via Xbox Live Marketplace and Thursday on PSN.

This is really sick…glad they launched the Warped Tour series of downloadable packs with some great tunes. Bad Religion is always classic, and it’s awesome that they included “I Didn’t Say I Was Powerful, I Said I Was A Wizard” by Chiodos…really great guitar groove.
