Say who will win in a battle between Darth Vader and Yoda is hard choice, because for a side Darth Vader is more young and strong than Yoda, but Yoda is wiser.

Considering his strengths and his weakness, the winner could be dath vader definitely.

Because after a long battle, the Yoda body, lose stamina and skills, in the end, Yoda will die, in a hands of darth vader.

Obviously Yoda, his speed n agility would allow him to dodge the brute force of Vader. With his vast years of experience and monitoring of Anakin from a young age would provide him with the knowledge to combat his weaknesses whilst remaining fully aware of his strengths! (and good always triumphs over evil right?)

Hmm, difficult, for a Non-Starwarsie person like me, but I think it has to be the BIG Guy. he’s the baddie. The Little Guy, although good, would serve a greater purpose by dying, martyrdom and all that.

And as Spock says, the sacrifice of the one, blah de blah blah blah, and anyway, is a FILM so magic says that no matter how he dies, he’ll come back again anyhow, magic dust / rewind time / death star reverse implosion causing a black hole thru which time and death are invariably turned around.

Yoda would win because he has more experience, and has battled the Emperor (Darth Sidious) himself on a pretty much even level and could handle himself pretty well, considering that Palpatine/Sidious had a much greater knowledge of the Dark Side of the Force than Vader. Yoda/Palpatine was a stalemate, Yoda didn’t lose; he fell, but he had the upper hand for much of the battle and could block attacks such as Force Lightning. Vader knows much less about the Force than either of them. Size and age don’t really count, as Yoda could handle just about anyone even in his advanced years, he fought two Sith Lords, and shows more profound skill and knowledge of the Force than just about anyone, and is on-par with Palpatine, who is marginally more powerful than Vader. To conclude: Yoda with his skill and experience would win, but Vader is not to be underestimated.

Well Yoda would probably initially outwit and outfight Vader, but CyberAnakin is no joke when it comes to pulling out all the stops..

Similar to the scene from empire, I envision darth reaching out to yoda in a faked attempt to lure the lil green guy closer.. , Darth quickly swings his saber and performs an excellent strike aimed at decapitatint the smaller jedi master, however just as he swings Yoda does an undersomersault and begins to roll between Vader’s legs…

Well, I would say Yoda. Judging by the battle between Yoda and Darth Sidious in Star Wars episode 3, Yoda is incredibly agile and powerful in the force. Darth Vaders mechanical limbs slow him down significantly. Since Yoda is far wiser in the use of the force than Darth Vader, Darth Vader`s natural force capabilities wont be of much help. In conclusion, Darth Vader would loose because he is slower and is not yet able to utilise his full potential in the force.

Considering yoda is an OAP (even by galactic years) by the time their path’s cross, it’s not really fair to say, it’s like Gazza taking on Cristiano Ronaldo 1 on 1. We all know yoda has a greater understanding of the force but vader has far greater potential (higher midachlorine count), so a stalemate is the only fair result! Besides, judging by your screenshot, vader is brandishing his saber suggesting he’s more likely to invade yoda than kill him!
