Sonic & Knuckles Spinning Onto XBLA September 9th
Author: Vince | Date: August 29, 2009
Sega have revealed that the Megadrive classic Sonic & Knuckles will make its way onto Xbox Live arcade on September 9th, complete with full ‘lock-on’ compatibility with the XBLA versions of the 3 original Sonic games.
That means for the first time since their original release you can play through Sonic 2 or Sonic 3 as the lovable Echidna, and in the case of the original Sonic you will get to play the bonus ‘blue sphere’ game that it originally gave you if you had both games on the MD.

I don’t understand what Sonic & Knuckles has to do with the 10 year anniversary of the Dreamcast launch. You’d think they would have brought a classic DC game to XBLA & PSN on 9/9/09…course when has sega been intelligent?
