I have no idea what’s going on in this video, but it pretty much sums up the madness of vertical shooter king Cave‘s arcade hit Muchi Muchi Pork (gameplay here), a game so infamous that collectors pay up to $1500 just for the arcade PCB.

We got to play it, and many games like it, at Insert Coin ’09, and I’ve been a fan of the genre ever since. So it’s good to hear that, due to crazy internet demand, Cave’s next XBLA shooter *could* be coming to America and/or Europe to join Treasure’s equally awesome Ikaruga. The name of the game is Mushi-hime sama Futari, and we’ll be finding out about global availability at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show.
