Author: Vince | Date: September 13, 2009
This weeks Rock Band DLC feature artist is the from the Canadian 80′s metal band that never quite made it first time around, Anvil. Thanks to the VH1 documentary “Anvil! The Story of Anvil” the band are now beginning to find the fame they wanted 20 years ago, and to celebrate they are serving up 2 of their classic tracks from their 1982 album “Metal on Metal” alongside “This is Thirteen” from their most recent offering as downloads for Rock Band this week.
This week also sees the return of 3 artists from the Rock Band 2 disc, Dinosaur Jr., The guess Who and the mighty Tenacious D. All of these artists will be contributing 2 songs to this weeks DLC, including the song that made Tenacious D, “Tribute”.
