The Foo Fighters release their greatest hits album this week and to celebrate this weeks Rock Band DLC is full of the bearded wonder himself, Mr David Grohl, who plays on all but one of this weeks tracks.  First up are 4 tracks from the Foo Fighters all lifted from their more recent material, featuring the hit singles “The Pretender”, “Best of You” and the bands new single “Wheels”.  Mr Grohl the frontman will be joined by Mr Grohl the drummer as 3 more tracks from the legendary Nirvana come our way this week.  The tracks are all taken from the bands 1989 debut album Bleach, which is being re-released to celebrate its 20th anniversary, and features the classics “About A Girl” and “Blew”.

The odd (wo)man out this week is Joan Jett & the Blackhearts who will be bringing her 1984 hit “Fake Friends” to the Rock Band and Lego Rock Band stores when the tracks are released this Tuesday via Xbox Live and Thursday via PSN.  The Foo Fighters 4 track pack will cost 560microsoftpointslogosmall/£3.49, whilst the Nirvana pack will only set you back 440microsoftpointslogosmall/£2.49 and of course all of the tracks will be available individually for 160microsoftpointslogosmall/£0.99 each.
