This Week In Rock Band: Night Ranger Smell Like Teen Spirit Edition
Author: Vince | Date: November 29, 2009
After Smells Like Teen Spirit appeared in Guitar Hero 5 most Rock Band fans gave up on the idea of ever seeing the song land on their platform of choice, assuming that Activision had snapped up an exclusivity deal. If that was you then your prayers have been been answered, as this week will see the 3 missing songs from ‘Nevermind’ released as DLC, sort of… Whilst we are treated to the studio version of their biggest hit, we get the Unplugged in New York version of “Come as you Are” and “Lithium” from the recently released ‘Live at Reading’ album. Personally I’d hoped for the studio versions of them all to complete the album, but I guess these will have to do.
Alongside Kurt & the gang are 3 tracks from Night Ranger. The 3 tracks are split between the bands classic 80′s material and their current output and features their singles “(You Can Still) Rock in America” and “Don’t Tell Me You Love Me”
Each of the 3 track packs will be available for 440
/£2.49, alternatively you can purchase any of the tracks individually for 160
/£0.99 each when they are released on Tuesday via Xbox Live Marketplace or Thursday on Playstation Network.
Full tracklisting with video links after the break.
