This Week in Rock Band: Mr Petty Still Breaking Hearts Edition
Author: Vince | Date: January 19, 2010You can never have too much of a good thing, and as far are Harmonix are concerned Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers are a good thing. Not satisfied with having 8 songs available as DLC already in addition to a track in Rock Band’s blocky spin-off, this week we will be graced by another 6 classics from Mr Petty & Co. Perhaps not his ‘A’ grade material but certainly still great. Once again all of the tracks are taken from the 4 disc ‘Live Anthology’ box set which contains recordings spanning the bands 30 years of live performances.
Tom’s not alone however, as he is joined by French debutantes Phoenix who bring 2 tracks from their Grammy nominated album ‘Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix’ as well as Silvertide who contribute “Blue Jeans” from their 2005 album, ‘Show and Tell’.
The Tom Petty track pack will be available as a bundle for the princely sum of 800
/£4.99, otherwise all of the songs will be available individually for the regular price of 160
/£0.99 each when they are released on Tuesday via Xbox Live Marketplace and Thursday on Playstation Network.
Full tracklisting with video links after the break.
