The Week in Team Teabag: 25th – 31st May
Author: Vince | Date: June 1, 2009
It’s been another busy week here at Team Teabag and now it’s that time to take a look back at the posts that have brought us much joy over the last 7 days.
We saw the UMID mbook M1, a fully functional netbook with a tiny 4.9″ screen, we discovered that eBay & Amazon are blocking the sales of flash carts for the DS, we chuckled heartily at the tale of little Freddie Goggin beating Joe Calzaghe and we saw Microsoft’s new ZuneHD being fondled in public.
It was a busy week for reviews and previews too, as we got hands on with Batman: Arkham Asylum’s combat system and with Paradox’s Civ-alike East India Company and brought you reviews of Puzzle Quest: Glactrix on the DS along with 2 Dance Party titles and the surprisingly good PDC Darts 2009 for the Wii.

Despite the fact that the E3 conference is taking place this week it seems plenty of developers decided to make some announcements early, ID let us know that the original Wolfenstien 3D will be released this week on XBLA & PSN, Harmonix warned us of the impending Iron Maiden track pack for Rock Band, Ubisoft released the first information on Shaun White Snowboarding: World Stage and Telltale announced that Sam & Max will be investigating XBLA soon. However, by far the biggest announcements last week were from Rockstar who spilled the beans on the next lot of DLC for GTA4 and from Microsoft who announced a partnership with Sky TV in the UK & Ireland.
With many of E3′s conferences being streamed live we will be attempting to bring you the biggest news from the convention as it breaks, so be sure to check regularly to stay up to date or you can follow us via our Twitter feed if that’s what your into.
