What do you get when you combine Half-Life 2, the first episode of Pokemon, and a big bucket load of stupidity?
You get Garrymon.
I have no idea what’s going on, so I’m just going to leave this here.
This is one of the challenges from LEGO Rock Band. The manor has been overrun by ghosts and only one thing can scare them away – the power of ROCK!!
Awesome.

For some bizarre reason, I really love German industrial metallers Rammstein. I think this new video tops pretty much everything else they’ve ever done though, as it has the band members featuring in their very own hardcore porn video. Sure, parts of it are in English, but we can forgive that for the downright nastiness of it all.
By the way, this video is by no means family friendly or safe for work. You have been warned.
Today, Microsoft have won the entire internet. You see, the clip above is the very first, actual, honest-to-God TV ad for Windows 7, and it features unicorns, kittens, and bunnies. Oh, and The Final Countdown.
Oh, and it has that kid from those Vista ads, which I’m sure will appeal to the oldies of the world too.
The Final Countdown I tell ya!
Designing fighting games is just too easy. That’s what Fighter Maker developers ASCII thought when they brought out this abomination for Windows and PlayStation back in 1999. It let players design their very own 3D beat-em-up, and, well, it royally sucked, as you can see.
Enjoy!
Downloading SNES ROMs (that you otherwise legally own, naturally) can be a bit of a pain, and is probably also illegal. I also think that something’s lost… I mean, they’re the same games you remember, but not the exact same copies. Perhaps it’s just me.
So, for picky people like me there’s this USB adapter, known as the Snega2USB, which lets you play SNES games directly through your favourite emulator, and is built with inexpensive parts by a genius modder known only as Matthias.
Matthias informs us that a Sega Genesis version is on the way, and after that an all-in-one solution which can support mutliple consoles by means of extra connectors and firmware updates. He’s also looking into adding support for savegames. Is this guy a genius or what!?
Here’s a kid’s slide in an unnamed playground in Poland. As you can see, all who ride it are guaranteed a happy ending thanks to the mysterious… er… Jap’s eye that awaits them at the exit. The soundtrack to this video just adds to the awesomeness.
Here’s a picture of the offending attraction:
OK, so dot matrix printers don’t use toner drums… It was a tedious link at best. That doesn’t stop this drum ‘n bass tune from being totally geektacularly awesome though. Crank it up! Crank up the bass while you’re at it!
Dammit, I hate to admit it, but I so love drum ‘n bass.
(Thanks Bubba!)
It’s been a while since we’ve had a Video Friday here, and with good reason – the internet has been a whole world of fail for videos over the last few weeks. That, or I’ve just been too damn lazy to look (I know which option my money’s on).
Anyways, this is what resulted when an art project called Wyld File got their hands on an excellent 8-bit remix of Beck’s equally excellent track E-Pro. The remix was done by the highly talented Paza and is known as “Bad Cartridge”. This geektastic video, featuring arcade machines, 8-bit graphics, and furries, is actually even more nerdy than the excellent original.
Enjoy!
